I’m passionate about how new technology and AI get priced, packaged and paid for.
Pricing and monetization leader, currently Principal, Monetization Strategy at Atlassian. More than ten years of monetizing new technology, across life sciences, cloud infrastructure and AI.
AI inference and how to monetize it
Inference is where AI meets the customer, and where most of its value gets created and captured. The stack underneath is changing fast, and I follow all of it closely:
- Neoclouds
GPU clouds like CoreWeave, Lambda, Crusoe and Together are changing how compute is bought, from on-demand and reserved capacity to per-token APIs.
- Chips
GPUs, TPUs and purpose-built inference silicon from players like Groq and Cerebras open up new speed and price points.
- Inference engineering
Batching, caching, quantization and speculative decoding change what can be offered, from real-time to batch.
Every one of these shifts creates new ways to package and price AI. That's where I want to help shape what comes next.

Why monetization decides how new technology does
I get genuinely excited about monetization innovation. Pricing and packaging are among the strongest growth levers a company has, and among the most critical to get right. They decide whether great technology becomes a great business.
-
Price follows value.
Customers should pay in line with the value they get. The right value metric lets revenue grow as they get more out of the product.
-
Packaging drives adoption.
Which plan a feature lives in, and where customers can start, decides how fast a new product spreads and how far it expands.
-
Segmentation unlocks growth.
Different customers need different offers. Smart segmentation, from self-serve teams to large enterprises, lets one product win each group on its own terms.
Background
My whole career has been about monetizing new innovation, from pricing and go-to-market strategy in pharma and biotech to cloud infrastructure and AI.
I'm an industrial engineer by training, so I bring both business and technical depth to the table. I'm at home with finance on margins and with engineering on how the product actually works.

Off the clock
Most of my free time goes to family and friends: kids' activities, being outside and hiking around the Peninsula.
I'm also into interior design, with a special love for lighting. It's amazing how much light shapes the way a space looks and feels. Good lighting can make or break a room.
